Part of a DJs job is to pick tracks. So... nope.
Good luck in your DJ endeavors.

What on earth is a "generic?" Is that a noun?
The most fundamental and core value of DJing is track selection. You've got to do the selecting! If you just want something to practise on then get a couple of progressive house tracks and try to beatmatch them.
However, if you're asking us to recommend a whole genre for you... errrrr sorry, no.
Ask your friends what they like

You don't have the passion to be a good DJ. I recommend stopping now.

What genre do you like? that genre should be your strong point...if you only listen to 1 genre...well what can i say. Im no DJ i got a bedrooom setup but thats about it but im well rounded..recommend finding some other genre's you like..if you dont like them...no point on playing them. Research.

There's actually been a lot of these types of threads lately. Where are all these kids getting their inspirations of being a DJ from? Avicii Bud Light commercial??
