Hey guys
I'm trying to record/stream a mix with my DSLR for blog tv. I'm using the Nikon D3100. Could someone help us out here as I'm not great with this sorta thing.
thanks
Dyl
Well according to their website, the Nikon has a stereo microphone input (http://www.nikonusa.com/Nikon-Products/Product/Digital-SLR-Cameras/25472/D3100.html#tab-ProductDetail-ProductTabs-System). Rather than plug a microphone in there, you should be able to plug in the master out of your mixer (or whatever you're using) and plug it into that microphone input with one of these guys (http://www.wiredathome.com/product_images/h/643/monster_mini_rca_interlink__33449_zoom.jpg) so that once you hit record, the audio comes straight from your mixer.

Here you go! (http://www.amazon.com/RiteAV-3-5mm-Stereo-Male-Cable/dp/B000V0G2C4)
Also worth mentioning that if this doesn't work for you when using your Camera, you can always plug it into your computer and record the mix.
