What Can i do?

Hi people, im new to this got some decks the other day and been on them constantly but all i keep doing is just like fading songs into the other and thats pretty much it i was wondering what other sort of things i could do as thats not really mixing and want to be able to mix, ive got the numark mixtrack pro, hope you guys can give me some advice thanks :)

Learn to beatmatch, phrasematch, program, EQ, and level. Use your ears. Don't look at the screen, don't use effects, don't hit "sync."

Plenty of great tutorials can be found. Those should keep you occupied for a while.
