New Gear Budget.

Whats up guys, last year I played around with an Hercules RMX for a couple months, it was a good piece but I just wasn't feeling it...
Right now I got my eyes on the Numark NS6, already got a really good laptop, not a mac, but its very nice, and I was looking at the case that i can attach the controller with my laptop on top... I'm not sure which type of speakers to get, my budget right now its about $1500 the congroller, case, and headphones came out to about $1000 flat + shipping now idk which type of speakers to look at.
PS. Im mostly into hiphop/rap, reggae, and house music.

Room monitors? KRK Rockit's are pretty sweet and you won't have a shortage of bass with them. If your talking PA speakers then save your money - RCF ART312A which are $1000 a pair then add a powered sub later

umm... for speakers just regular desktop speakers should do the trick... if your budget is 500 i would suggest just saving

This or a stereo if you are just planning on using this stuff at home for now.

Used is a way to go. I had bought my Yamaha BR12 tops for $250 used and a QSC GX3 used for $250. been happy with them. Im sure theres plenty of good used gear out there. (oh btw, the GX3 is good enough for me LOL)
