Hello, I was wondering how to encase a KRK VXT 8 Speaker with with wood any suggestions be greatly appreciated.
Probably would mess up the acoustics :shrug:

Speaker design is a dark art, if you want to build your own cabinets(which is what you're talking about doing) go ahead and buy your own drivers and crossovers and just build a complete custom set of speakers. It's something I've wanted to do for a while...

You could use some Textured Vinyl Laminate

As long as you don't cover the grille it wouldn't alter response.
It would however look quite silly.

But like Estacy said, those are not KRKs. The drivers nor the tweeters.
